What is Vacuum Ceramic Tube? what's the effect?

2022-05-17

Vacuum Ceramic Tube is an electronic component that controls the flow of electrons in a circuit. The electrodes involved in the work are encapsulated in a vacuum container (mostly glass walls), hence the name. In China, vacuum tubes are called "electron tubes".

The role of Vacuum Ceramic Tube:

Before the middle of the twentieth century, because semiconductors were not yet popular, basically all electronic equipment at that time used vacuum tubes, which formed the demand for vacuum tubes at that time. However, with the development and popularization of semiconductor technology, vacuum tubes were finally replaced by semiconductors due to high cost, indurability, large size, and low efficiency. However, vacuum tubes can be seen in audio amplifiers, microwave ovens and high-frequency transmitters of artificial satellites; many audio systems use vacuum tubes because of their special sound quality. In the audio industry, old vacuum tubes often coexist with the latest digital ICs. In order to prevent the electromagnetic pulse interference of the enemy, some fighters such as MiG 25, the electronic equipment on the aircraft also uses vacuum tubes to make the power as high as kilowatts or more so as to burn out a channel. In addition, such as cathode ray tubes in televisions and computer cathode ray tube monitors, and X-ray tubes in X-ray machines, are special vacuum tubes.
